We stand on holy ground
4 When the Lord saw that Moses was coming closer, he called to him from the middle of the bush and said, “Moses! Moses!”
He answered, “Yes, here I am.”
5 God said, “Do not come any closer. Take off your sandals, because you are standing on holy ground. Exodus 3:4-5
Dear God,
What made the ground holy on that day, at that time? Was it your burning presence? Was it your spoken voice? Hadn’t Moses passed that bush before? Why was it not holy then? Or is it the truth, that the ground is always holy - not just at that time but every time? Because Dear God, you are always with us.
